In 2018 the city was awarded the coveted title of European Capital of Culture.
The nearest airport to Marqués de Riscal is Bilbao Airport which is located 9km north of the city of Bilbao. The easiest way to get from there is to drive, which will take around 1.5 hours. If you don't have a car you can also catch a train directly from the Airport or take the bus via the town of Haro.
