Riad Yasmine
Riad Yasmine is a private guesthouse of 7 rooms situated in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech in the Northern African country of Morroco. This charming boutique hotel is a haven of peace in an otherwise bustling and chaotic city centre.
A Riad is a Moroccan house that typically has a pool or fountain inside an inner-courtyard. Marrakech’s central medina boasts many riads, but this is one that without a doubt stands out from the rest.
Each of the 7 rooms and suites, designed and named after areas in Morocco, are beautifully decorated in traditional style, with tiled floors and views of the central courtyard and pool. Each room has its own private bathroom with a soaking tub that doubles as a shower.
The central courtyard of this Riad features a stunning dipping pool and an indoor seating area. It is surrounded by leafy green tropical plants and makes you feel like you are in your own private, hidden oasis. This particular pool is actually quite 'famous' and some consider it to be one of the most 'Instagrammed' pools of the riads in Marrakech.
Riad Yasmine also has a large rooftop terrace with expansive views over the medina, providing one of the best places to catch the sunset in the city. In the morning, breakfast with fresh juices and pastries is served at the rooftop making a magical way to start the day.
As a guesthouse, the Riad offers traditional Moroccan lunches and dinners on demand. However, please note that dinners need to be booked in advance, as they only cook daily with fresh produce gathered from the local markets.

Location
The Riad is situated in the area called Bab Taghzout, it is about a 20-minute walk from the main square, Jemaa El Fna, and 5-minutes from the entrance of the souks. The Riad also has car and taxi access and you can be dropped and picked up directly from the front door. A 24 hr secured parking area is situated 50m up the road from the Riad if you are driving yourself.
How to get there
There are daily flights from most major European cities to Marrakech Airport (RAK). There are also regular cross-Atlantic connections to the United States. It will take around 25-minutes by taxi to the Riad from the Airport. However, this duration can change based on local traffic conditions in Marrakech so make sure you leave a bit of extra time just in case.
