Located in Munich's up-and-coming Westend district near Theresienwiese (the place where Oktoberfest is held every year), Roomers Munich is both a modern and stylish hotel whilst at the same time a locals' dining and nightlife hot spot.
Roomers as a brand describe themselves as “Electric. Hedonistic. Sexy. Sensual. Luxurious. Glamorous,” and you'll find that this hotel doesn't hold back at all. While traditionalists might baulk at the minimalist lighting and dark aesthetic, even if it takes a few minutes to get used to it, it will grow on you, eventually becoming enjoyable, and easy on the eye.
With 281 rooms (and 10 suites), there is something on offer for every style and every budget – and all include a touch of luxury. From the superior room with a modern rain shower to the Premium suite with its private bar, steam room and terrace looking over the city.
Within the hotel, you will find the IZAKAYA Asian Kitchen & Bar, a new dining concept that offers modern Japanese cuisine with South American influences. If you’re after a nightcap, head next door to Roomers Bar – and be sure to check out their hidden Whisky room directly adjacent to the bar.
The hotel also includes a library, spa, seven conference rooms, an event space, and two outdoor terraces that can fit up to 500 guests.
Roomers is set in the Westend of Munich, which is just under a kilometer from the city centre. This is the place where historical sites meet high-tech businesses such as Apple and Google. It is less touristy than some of the other Munich districts and offers a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars – both Bavarian and international. This is where the real Munich life takes place.
The hotel is just 5-minutes by tram from the Munich HBF train station and 10-minutes by tram from the München Marienplatz in the centre of Munich. The Line 19 tram is the one you want to look out for and make sure you get on one heading in a westerly direction.
