The hosts of this property, Chris and Dane are horticulturalists and landscape designers who run a working flower farm just outside of the beautiful town of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
Soak up the secluded splendour of this modern farmhouse in the Cape Winelands. A new expansive view awaits at every turn—admire one side of the mountain range in the light-filled entrance hall, and take in the other from the spacious sitting room that brings the outdoors in with a full-size maple tree and sliding glass doors.
The farmhouse can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests across four bedrooms, each of which come with their own private ensuite. The rooms have all been individually styled with a unique twist to each theme that showcases different aspects of the hosts' personalities.
Colourful textiles and eclectic art objects collected from around the world enliven the rest of the farmhouse interiors, where leafy greens and flowers fill each room. The interior decoration of the house is a shining example of how the natural world can have a striking impact on an interior: potted plants, feature firewood, fresh flowers and ferns transform this stunning home in a way we’ve never seen before.
Outside you the farmhouse you'll have access to the lush and green grounds that surround the farmhouse. There is an amazing 15m outdoor pool, which offers the perfect place to relax on a hot summers day.

Location
The farmhouse is set in a secluded and quiet area just a short drive away from the quaint town of Stellenbosch and around 1 hour from the commercial hub of Cape Town.
Stellenbosch is officially the second oldest town in South Africa and is renowned around the world for its natural beauty and oak-lined avenues, Cape Dutch architecture, history and culture – and of course its fantastic wine farms. The town is a lively and active centre servicing the surrounding region and is abuzz with hotels, wine shops, cafés, restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and museums.
How to get there
Without a doubt, the best way to get out to the Flower farm is by car. Most of South Africa is quite poorly connected when it comes to public transport, so be prepared to hire a car and do it yourself. But that's all part of the fun as having a car allows you to truly make the most of the region and the numerous surrounding wineries that this area is famous for.
