Trullo M is a freshly restored minimalist retreat that sits on a hillside, looking out to sea. This Trullo home is a beautiful example of the traditional architecture of this area and is in a superb location that makes it easy to further explore the ancient coast of Puglia in southern Italy.
Simple, but refined in its decor, the white walls and soft stone floors are complimented by the perfect mix of new and old. Taking inspiration from the typical Puglian style of living, the house has been furnished with a mix of tactile wooden furniture and vintage pieces
The main house consists of 3 bedrooms, one with a king bed & ensuite, another with a queen bed & ensuite, and a third room with two bunk beds. The external building next to the pool has a queen bed with ensuite bath.
The house also has a recently renovated all-white kitchen that blends with the painted stone walls of the building. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Lavazza coffee machine, toaster
The outside of the house features a beautiful infinity pool with views out over the ancient olive groves and out towards the Mediterranean coastline.
The property is situated on a hill with a view towards the sea and the valley. As it is located approx. 350m above sea level, so you can enjoy a lovely ocean breeze during summertime. The location is ideal for taking day trips to some of the most beautiful areas of Puglia - Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, Alberobello, Monopoli and many more.
Trullo M is a holiday home, therefore only the full property is for rent. Bookings per room are not possible. There is a minimum stay of 5 nights in low season and 7 nights in peak season.
Located in the Southern Italian region of Puglia, which is an area forming the heel of Italy’s “boot,” known for its whitewashed hill towns, centuries-old farmland and hundreds of kilometers of Mediterranean coastline. There are historic towns and villages to visit nearby, among the closest is Laureto, about half an hour away by car is the beautiful seaside town of Monopoli and the fascinating ancient 16th-century town of Alberobello.
The property is located just near the town of Laureto which is about 60 km south of the city of Bari and 55 km north of Brindisi where you'll find the two nearest airports.
There are regular train services from the nearby town of Fasano to both Bari and Brindisi and from there you can connect to the rest of Italy. Bari is around 3 hours from Rome by high-speed train with multiple trains running between the two cities daily. (You will have to take a taxi between the house and the train station in Fasano).
If you don't feel like taking public transport and have access to a car, the drive from Bari or Brindisi will take around an hour each.
